Research Scientist II

Brian joined MetrumRG in 2021 after receiving his Pharm.D. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California San Diego. His Ph.D. thesis work focused on bioinformatic analysis of epigenomic datasets to identify novel biomarkers of prognosis and response to azacitidine in myelodysplastic syndrome patients. He also studied how specific somatic mutations can impact cellular responses to azacitidine in genetically engineered cell lines.
