Learning Objectives
- Identify the available open-source R packages developed by MetrumRG to support traceable, reproducible, and scalable pharmacometric analyses
- Explore a reproducible pharmacometric analysis workflow
Topic Outline
- Introduction to MetrumRG’s open-source R package ecosystem
- Metrum Package Network (MPN) / pkgr: curated, reproducible R package environment
- bbi/bbr: a user-friendly interface between R and NONMEM® to manage, track, and report modeling activities through simple R objects
- yspec: data specifications, wrangling, and documentation
- pmplots: exploratory and diagnostic plots for pharmacometrics
- pmforest: forest plots, a visualization tool for identified variables of interest, for pharmacometrics
- mrggsave: labeling, arranging, and saving figures
- pmtables: tables for pharmacometrics including (i) built in functions to summarize data disposition and continuous or categorical variables, and (ii) simple functions to turn any dataframe/tibble into a highly customized tex table
- lastdose: calculating last dose amount and time since previous doses
- Demonstration of individual R packages and how they support scalability and reproducibility during:
- Project setup
- Data assembly
- Data exploration
- Model development and evaluation
- Simulation
- Reporting
- Resources for additional learning
