Interactive apps for decision making
Many of our clients have benefitted immensely from using interactive apps to make decisions throughout the drug development process. These apps allow decision making teams to quickly and easily access the complexities of models and simulators. Deploying these apps within Metworx allows for the quick and reproducible analysis of various scenarios by both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Check out some examples of apps we have developed by clicking on the links below.
HBGDki M3 Gut & Growth Model
To understand and separate effects of nutrition and disease on infant growth, a physiologically-based mathematical model was developed describing fat mass (FM) and fat-free mass (FFM) from birth to 2 years. This app allows a user to simulate individual infant phenotypes and infection events and visualize growth and energy levels over time, relative to healthy (WHO) standards.
Moxi
This app was developed and used in one of our model visualization workshops. It involves the probability of target attainment for moxifloxacin in diabetic foot infection.
Pediatric dosing
This app allows the user to explore various dosing scenarios in a pediatric population.
TDM
This app explores real time parameter estimation and simulation in a therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) scenario.
Getting Started with mrgsolve
This app is a simple demonstration of mrgsolve working with shiny, helping you get started building your own interactive, model visualization tools.
Open Science
This app demonstrates simulation from a published quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) model for ERK inhibition in colorectal cancer. It was used in our workshop “Toward Open Science: Translating literature-reported quantitative pharmacology models for simulation and interactive visual exploration”.
